As a business owner, when you have so much work that your whole team is working weekends and evenings, it’s time to step back and think.
It’s been another growth year for Simply Strategy with some exciting changes. In January, we added a Manager of Project Operations and throughout the year we have expanded our work in the product and service category we like to call “improving overall health and well-being” with several nice new client additions. We are also working with more partners than ever but with that comes more responsibility for the details.
To maintain all of our well-beings over here, it’s time to add to our team. We strive to go the extra mile for clients but we also know in order to do our best thinking, we need to have the right team, tools, and time.
Which makes now the time to think about who might be able to join us in our work. I have outlined the details on the position below.

Project Coordinator and Analyst
Simply Strategy is a marketing strategy consulting firm that delivers research-based solutions to its clients, merging focused insight with talented resources. We guide clients with impartial counsel through inquiry, insight, ideation, and implementation necessary to develop strong brands. We provide mid-sized businesses to Fortune 500 companies with brand development and communications recommendations, plus the project management necessary to keep marketing efforts on target and efficiently moving forward.
Our team is small, nimble and personally passionate about our clients’ products and programs which often focus on health and well-being – including in the maternal, financial, managed, and public health fields.
The ideal candidate for this position is intelligent, motivated, eager to learn, and interested in both research and marketing within a consulting firm.
The Project Coordinator and Analyst will work with the Manager of Project Operations in coordinating client marketing plans and strategies with Simply Strategy’s partners and clients. He or she must be able to collect and organize accurate information to develop communication directing partners and vendors. Actively contributes to organizational efficiency in project collaborations and works to enhance internal processes.
In addition to client services, the Project Coordinator and Analyst will assist Research Strategists with aspects of project logistics and administration. They will also be actively involved in data collection efforts, including in-depth interviewing and secondary research. Key responsibilities also include manipulation of datasets, analysis of survey data, report writing and data presentation, and other market research and evaluation tasks as needed.
Candidates should be comfortable both working as a member of a team and working independently. The Analyst and Project Coordinator will also be expected to work on multiple projects simultaneously. This job is different every day, and requires someone who can quickly adapt to change (and accepts a little bit of entrepreneurial chaos). Must provide enthusiasm and creativity in problem solving along with flexibility and a desire to learn.
A degree in marketing, business, psychology, communications, public health or another related field preferred. Regardless of educational background, a demonstrated interest in communications, marketing and/or research is needed.
Highly Desirable Experience:
- Competitive intelligence, market research, data analysis or applicable internship experience
- 2 or more years’ experience, researching, writing, and quantitatively analyzing
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and to work successfully with all employee levels, regardless of background and perspectives
30-40 hours per week desired, but there is flexibility in scheduling.
