The Research Analyst will assist Researchers and Strategists with many aspects of research projects. They will also be actively involved in data collection efforts and all forms of qualitative and quantitative analysis. Key responsibilities include survey design and analysis, report writing, data presentation, and vendor management. Both strong analysis and presentation development skills are required to be successful.
Candidates should be comfortable working both as a member of a team and independently. The Research Analyst may work on multiple projects simultaneously. This job is different every day and requires someone who can quickly adapt to change (and accepts a little bit of entrepreneurial chaos). Must provide enthusiasm and creativity in problem-solving along with flexibility and a desire to learn. At all times in client and team interactions, this individual operates professionally and within the team structure and represents themselves as a member of Simply Strategy’s team appropriately.
A background in research and statistical analysis is needed. A degree and/or background in communications, marketing or public health is helpful but not required.
• Experience using Qualtrics or other survey platforms, FocusVision and its video clipping functionality, SSPS or other statistical software
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and to work successfully with all employee levels, regardless of background and perspective
This position offers the ability to work at home as needed and a flexible schedule. Hours will vary based on project load, but a commitment of at least 10 hours a week, and up to 25 hours at times is needed. Compensation commensurate with experience.
This position is a temporary contract position to cover a maternity leave. It will be available from late November through late January, with the possibility to continue beyond February on a contract basis. The position offers the ability to work at home as needed and a flexible schedule. Hours will vary based on project load, but a commitment of at least 10 hours a week, and up to 25 hours at times is needed. Compensation commensurate with experience.
